Environmental preparation is the state of the space at the point of installation. Manufacturer specifications typically require the site to be closed to weather, glazed, at operational temperature (18 to 24°C), with relative humidity between 40 and 60 percent, and with all wet trades complete.

These parameters are not conservative preferences; they are the conditions under which the product is warranted. Installation into an unconditioned or wet-trade-active site voids warranty and reliably produces movement failures within the first year.

Verification is documentary — probe readings and ambient records taken and retained. Verbal confirmation from a site contact is not verification.
