Methodology
BETA Procurement Intelligence combines direct manufacturer observations, active procurement conditions, logistics information and reputable public market data. Market information is reported as observed; it is not modelled, forecast without basis, or generated automatically.
- 01
Direct manufacturer observation
Correspondence and production reporting from the factories BETA Projects works with directly, including capacity, scheduling and batch conditions. This correspondence is commercially sensitive and is held internally.
- 02
Active procurement conditions
Conditions observed on live BETA-managed supply: quoted lead times, production windows, inspection outcomes and delivery performance across current commercial projects.
- 03
Logistics and freight information
Freight forwarder quotations, booking availability, container rates and shipping schedule information obtained in the ordinary course of moving project volume.
- 04
Reputable public market data
Published market sources, government and industry publications, and recognised commodity and currency references, cited internally against the statement they support.
- 01Source attachment
Any statement containing exchange rates, freight rates, lead times, manufacturing utilisation, commodity prices, factory capacity, shipping conditions, regulatory changes or market statistics must have an internal source reference attached in the editorial system before it can be published.
- 02Human review
Numerical market claims are reviewed and signed off by a named member of the BETA desk. Drafts prepared with AI assistance cannot reach publication without that confirmed human review.
- 03Commercial confidentiality
Manufacturer and supplier correspondence underpinning a statement remains internal. Publicly, we disclose the class of source used rather than the counterparty or the commercial terms.
- 04No retrospective adjustment
Procurement Watch Index readings represent the desk's assessment at the date of publication. Historical readings are never overwritten when the current index changes.
- 05Absence of development
Where there is no material change to report, we publish a short desk update stating so. We do not manufacture movement to fill a publication schedule.
BETA Procurement Intelligence is prepared to inform commercial procurement decisions on flooring supply. It is an assessment of conditions observed at the date of publication, not financial advice or a guarantee of future manufacturing, freight or currency conditions. Where an observation cannot be sourced, it is not published.
